PB&G is holding auditions for New Generation (Pro-Am), Rising Stars (Amateur), and a new student training team! Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 17th from 10am-12pm at our new studio:

Cost to audition is just $5, and you will be taken through a solo footwork and partnering routine and judged on timing, styling, and performance/showmanship. Please wear comfortable clothes!

Come help us welcome Michelle Castro (the co-director of PB&G) back to the Bay Area this Friday, at a special Hot Salsa Friday! Michelle is visiting the Bay Area from her home in Dubai, and will be teaching some sexy salsa moves this Friday, along with PB&G Pro Team member Frank Khan!
And if you’re looking for some extra lessons with Michelle, she will be teaching a special Ladies Styling Workshop this Saturday in San Francisco. The workshop will teach you how to incorporate sexy styling, technique and personality into your dancing, and there will be lessons aimed at both beginner and advanced dancers.

Pretty Boys & Girls represented the Bay Area this past weekend at the 2011 Portland Salsa Congress. Both the PB&G New Generation and the PB&G Pro Team put on some spectacular performances that wowed the crowd, and in the Amateur Competition, PB&G members Takeshi & Leelianna took 3rd place and Wayne & Helen took 1st place!
In addition to our regular Beginner & Intermediate lessons, free food, and dancing until 2am, we will be having two special performances!
The first performance will be by Spartan Mambo, a student salsa team from San Jose State University who recently won the College Salsa Congress held in LA!
Also performing tonight are Isidro & Ariel, winners of the inaugural US Salsa Open Championships, who are returning from a European Tour and will be debuting a new routine!

For the kids team, we are looking for enthusiastic kids, ages 4-13 that will be performing at the US Salsa Open and other events. No experience necessary!
